Academic privacy is paramount. LitSource uses end-to-end encrypted transmission (SSL/TLS) to protect your data. Your unpublished drafts, outlines, and search history are never used to train any external public models. You retain full intellectual property rights.
Which databases does LitSource cover? How often is data updated?
We integrate major global databases, covering 100M+ biomedical and life science papers, PMC, CrossRef, and more. Data syncs daily, ensuring the latest publications and Online First research are available for immediate search and verification.
Does it support non-English claims?
Yes. With our built-in bilingual cross-referencing model, you can input claims in Chinese or other languages. The system automatically converts them into precise English search queries to retrieve global literature.
Which reference management tools are compatible?
Export verified references directly to EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley and other major tools, or export in standard BibTeX and RIS formats. We also provide APA, MLA, Harvard, Vancouver, and other standard citation styles.
How are Credits consumed? Am I charged for failed searches?
Each successful multi-angle search or single-paper citation verification costs 1 Credit. Our billing is transparent: if no qualifying results are found, no credits are deducted.
Is there a free tier? How do I get more credits?
New users receive 10 free Credits upon registration. For higher usage, we offer monthly subscription plans (great value for ongoing research) and flexible one-time credit packs with no expiration.
